On November 28, Sumec Marine Co., Ltd. (Sumec Marine) and NEW DAYANG Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (NEW DAYANG) conducted a virtual signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement with Taiwan-based shipping owner China Leasing Holdings to build two Crown 63 PLUS bulk carriers. The event was attended by He Jun, Chairman of Sumec Marine, Liu Yang, Deputy General Manager of Sumec Marine, leaders from China Leasing Holdings, and representatives from the business teams of both parties.

As 2024 draws to a close, this latest order further cements SUMEC Marine’s CROWN63 PLUS 3.0 series, bringing the total number of contracted vessels in this upgraded model to 105 ships. This milestone marks another significant advancement in the development of the CROWN brand.
