At the beginning of 2026, SUMEC MARINE celebrated a strong start with the successful naming and delivery of two Version 3.0 Crown 63 bulk carriers, NDY1301 "ACHILLES" and NDY1302 "ARES," built by its subsidiary NEW DAYANG. This achievement marks another milestone in the collaboration with Monaco-based shipowner TMA.

The delivered Version 3.0 Crown 63 bulk carriers are flagship products of SUMEC MARINE, meeting EEDI Phase 3 energy efficiency standards and Tier III environmental requirements, with significant advantages in green performance. Previously, the two parties renewed their cooperation in August 2025 by signing contracts for two 3,100 TEU container vessels, further solidifying their partnership. Looking ahead, SUMEC MARINE will continue to focus on the R&D and construction of green and intelligent vessels, working hand in hand with global partners to chart a new course for the shipping industry.
