On March 28, a naming and delivery ceremony for the first Version 3.0 Crown 63 bulk carrier built by NEW DAYANG, a subsidiary of SUMEC MARINE, for ICBC Financial Leasing was held at the outfitting quay. XU Jiqing, Member of the Party Group and Deputy General Manager of Minmetals Group; LI Zhicong, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of Minmetals Development; WANG Zhenyong, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of ICBC Financial Leasing; JIANG Yafeng, Vice President of China Classification Society; WANG Jian, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of SUMEC Group; HE JUN, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of SUMEC Group, along with relevant business personnel, attended the ceremony.

The delivered vessel, the 3.0 version Crown 63 bulk carrier, represents the company’s core product line. It incorporates a range of optimized and environmentally friendly design features, fully complying with EEDI Phase III and Tier III emission standards. Its overall performance has reached a benchmark level among international vessels of the same class.
