On August 13th, Sumec Marine Co., Ltd. (Sumec Marine) held a grand naming ceremony for two Crown 63 PLUS bulk carriers built for U-Ming Marine Transport Corporation. Attending the ceremony were leaders and guests including Xu Xudong, Chairman of Far East Holding Group Co., Ltd.; Xu Guoan, Vice Chairman of U-Ming Marine Transport; Wang Shuji, General Manager of U-Ming Marine Transport; Henri de Wit, Deputy Chairman of BNP Paribas (China); Luo Xueming, Member of the Leading Party Members' Group and Deputy Secretary-General of Yangzhou Municipal Government; Yuan Jun, Deputy Secretary-General of Yangzhou Municipal Government; Sun Yujin, Director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of Yangzhou Municipal Government; Alex Gregg-Smith, Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific and President of Bureau Veritas China; Yang Yongqing, Chairman of Sumec Group; He Juan, Chairman of Sumec Marine; Xu Gang, Vice Chairman of Sumec Marine; Xu Bin, General Manager of Sumec Marine; as well as representatives from NEW DAYANG Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
