On October 9th, NEW DAYANG Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (NEW DAYANG) successfully launched the Crown 63 PLUS bulk carrier NDY1291, which was built for Tianjin Yongxu Shipping, from its building berth. Yu Changxin, General Manager of Tianjin Yongxu Shipping, and Xu Bin, General Manager of Sumec Marine Co., Ltd. (Sumec Marine), attended the launching ceremony. The NDY1291, which was launched on that day, is the first Crown 63 PLUS bulk carrier to be launched from NEW DAYANG's building berth since its commissioning. The vessel is classified by CCS and is expected to be delivered to the shipowner for operation in January next year.
