On August 12, NEW DAYANG, a subsidiary of SUMEC MARINE, successfully named and delivered the 41,000 DWT handysize bulk carrier "LARA" built for a Greek shipowner. The naming ceremony was attended by Mrs. Lara Stafylopati, the ship's sponsor; Dimitris Achillias, the shipowner's Newbuilding Director; Welch Richard, the Commercial Director of Lloyd's Register (LR) Classification Society; Xu Gang, the Vice Chairman of SUMEC MARINE, along with other leaders and guests.

The "LARA" was delivered 50 days ahead of schedule, highlighting NEW DAYANG's technological prowess and construction efficiency in the field of medium-sized bulk carriers.
