On March 12, the Youth League Committee of Sumec Marine Co., Ltd. (Sumec Marine) organized a group visit for the students from the "Huaihua Class," who are currently interning at NEW DAYANG Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (NEW DAYANG), to tour the Crown 63 PLUS bulk carrier DY4148. This vessel, named "CL HUAIHUA," was built by NEW DAYANG for China Leasing Development Corporation Limited (CLD).

News Link: The "Huaihua Class" is a collaborative educational program in the "Mechatronics" discipline jointly organized by New Dayang Shipyard, a subsidiary of SUMEC Marine, and Jiangsu Automotive Technician College in Huaihua, Hunan. The purpose of this activity was to further inspire the students' enthusiasm for the shipbuilding industry and help them better integrate into the shipyard environment.

During the visit, the students first toured the forecastle deck and the bosun's storage room, learning about the structure of the chambers and the working principles of the hydraulic pump station. They then proceeded to the aft superstructure area, where they were introduced to the structure of the cargo holds and the operation principles of equipment like the crane. Finally, the students visited the bridge, where they gained an overview of the various functional areas within the control room.
